Safety Day at the Farmstead provides families the opportunity to interact with and learn from members of emergency services, hospitals and safety organizations. Sponsored by Children’s Mercy, Safety Day is a FREE event!Join us for a day of learning, discovery and fun! Kids can hop aboard a fire truck, check out a police cruiser and meet local emergency heroes. Learn about everything from poison control to water safety, and don’t miss the Drive-Thru Child Car Seat Check. This is a great opportunity for families to explore important safety topics while enjoying hands-on activities and emergency vehicles. Note: Safety vehicles are scheduled to attend but some may be called away for public service.
