Spring Festival of Reading

Our twice-annual festival returns for another joyful afternoon of book-filled fun! This event is completely free to attend for families across the metro. It takes place indoors at the KC Urban Youth Academy and will proceed rain or shine. The first 200 guests will receive a free hotdog and chips combo meal and every child will have the chance to choose brand new books for their home library from the broad collection at our free book fair. There will be a performance from Drum Safari and local author reading and book signing by Vlad Sainte.
