The Fairy Princess – A KC tradition since 1935

This year marks the 39th year that the Museum has hosted The Fairy Princess, continuing the cherished Kansas City custom that began at Kline’s Department Store in 1935. Kline’s originally introduced the Fairy Princess to celebrate their new “Toyland” Department, enchanting generations of children until the early 1970s.
