A 19th Century Picnic
Pack your picnic basket and join the living history interpreters at Missouri Town 1855 on the lawn to experience a 19th century picnic! Bring your own food (19th century recipes encouraged!) and blanket and pull up a spot on the lawn, surrounded by more than two dozen original antebellum structures. Participate in period lawn games, join in a quilting bee, and learn about one of the favorite pastimes of the Victorian era. Rain date Saturday, August 20.
