The classic folktale comes to life with music, romance, and hilarious comedy. Based on the 17th Century French version by Charles Perrault, the play celebrates the victory of a mistreated foster child forced to tend the fireplace and sleep in its cinders by her vain family. The vanity turns to ridiculous fun when the stepsisters get their comeuppance and Cinderella rises to power as a princess.
