The American Royal World Series of Barbecue® is a longstanding tradition in Kansas City. Competitors from around the world join in the world’s largest barbecue competition to be crowned the Grand Champion in the Invitational Competition, Open Competition, Sides Competition, and Kids Que! Friday night is Kansas City's biggest party with live music, cold drinks, and of course mouth-watering Barbecue. Bring the entire family on Saturday and browse through the BBQ marketplace, stop by some of our kid-friendly activities, and watch some of the biggest names in BBQ compete!

Join us in Kansas City for a BBQ experience like no other! It is also the American Royal’s largest fundraiser. What we raise that weekend goes straight to our mission to be the nation’s leader for food and agriculture education, events and engagement.
