Arrival of Mayor’s Christmas Tree

The 100-foot-tall Douglas fir will arrive at Crown Center Nov. 5 on its custom-made trailer, after making a 2,000-mile road trip from the forests of the Willamette Valley in Oregon through six states to Kansas City. The Crown Center team works to re-assemble and decorate the tree throughout November in preparation for the lights to be turned on November 27^th.
