What: Second Presbyterian Church is excited to announce its annual art fair, “Art on Oak,”

showcasing the talents of local artists and musicians.

When: Friday, October 7,

5-8 p.m. and Saturday,

October 8, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Where: Second Presbyterian Church, 318 E. 55th St., Kansas City, MO 64113

Why: Since its inception in 2016, Art on Oak has provided a space for local artists to exhibit

their creativity. The event embodies Second Presbyterian Church’s support for the arts in

Kansas City, and celebrates community artists, both amateur and professional.

How: Second’s building spaces are transformed into an extended gallery exhibiting the works

of up to 40 community artists. Whether you’re are a member, neighbor, biker or trail-walker,

stop by anytime during the weekend and take in the vibrant sounds of local musicians, enjoy

wine and appetizers, and explore the art show showcasing community artists. This year’s show

is dedicated to two beloved local artists, Jim Hamil (1937-2022) and Louise Davis (1931-2022).

Friday Music
