Baking Bash!
St. Elizabeth Parish kitchen E 75th St, Kansas City, Missouri 64114
'Tis the season for cooking up something fun and yummy treats for the holidays!
Join ADHD Coach Diane McLean and her lovable lab, Digby for some holiday baking, along with some executive skill tips. Using some strategies for planning, organization, and time management, we will make an assortment of cookies to share with friends (or eat yourself!), and we will also make some dog treats for your favorite canine, too! Join us for some holiday fun!
This meeting is designed for middle and high school students. Parents are welcome to stay, but it is not required that they do so.
What to expect: We will be using the kitchen to make food to learn organizational skills. We will be making holiday cookies and dog treats. The cookies will all be made from cake mixes with other ingredients added. They have gluten, eggs, and butter. There are no nuts, but there may be cross contamination. The dog treats have rice flour, ground flax seed, bananas, and peanut butter but we can use Sun Butter if there are allergy concerns. As mentioned above, her therapy dog, Digby, will also be around. Please email kkstuppy@gmail.com if there are any allergy concerns!
