Little explorers are in for a treat as they immerse themselves in the enchanting world of nature and creativity. Each month\, a new make-and-take project unfolds on Discovery Day. Crafting supplies are included\, and the projects are available on a first-come\, first-served basis to the first 100 participants. \nThe first Tuesday of the month also happens to be Free Admission Day at the Arboretum\, so entry into the gardens and this project are all free! \n2026 projects:\nJanuary 6 – Bird binoculars\nFebruary 3 – Paint and art show\nMarch 3 – Ladybug rock painting\nApril 7- Flower press\nMay 5 – Paper bag kites\nJune 2- Paper spinner and/or Pinwheel\nJuly 7 – Grass hair planters\nAugust 4 – Nature journals\nSeptember 1 – Build a bug and/or Bug hotel\nOctober 6 – Bat rockets\nNovember 3 – Leaf suncatchers\nDecember 1 – Bean mosaic art
