DESCRIPTION:The DJs of the World is a 10-part concert series at the Rock Island Bridge\, celebrating global music and cultures. With eight shows left in the series\, the festival of music is a vibrant showcase of live performances from international DJs\, bringing world music to the forefront to amplify the soccer atmosphere as part of a global celebration of sound. Artists spanning all genres and styles will take center stage on various dates from June to early July\, running from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM. This community celebration is free and open to the public of all ages.\nThe dynamic lineup spotlights a diverse array of global talent\, bringing together DJs with heritage and roots from outside the US to amplify the international tournament excitement. The roster includes:\n· KC’s DJ NE$$\, the official KC Current DJ who represents her Mexican heritage with sets blending R&B and reggaeton\,\n· DJ Gio\, who brings his South Sudanese background to the decks.\n· D•A•Y•dream Collective\, a trio of American DJs whose diverse roots represent five different countries altogether: Petty Offense (Iranian and Ecuadorian heritage)\, Kodex (Mexican and Black American heritage)\, and Aleisha (Indian heritage).\n· RiTZ & FRiENDS (Colors) is also featured\, bringing together artists with Middle Eastern and Hispanic backgrounds.\n· Casa Negros and Colombian-born MAAD\, a staple of the KCMO underground club scene delivering high-energy house and UK garage.\n· Local sister duo JusGurlss will be spinning high-energy world music alongside Sheppa\, with even more artists joining the lineup to bring the global community directly to the Kansas City stage.
