Chuckwagon Cookoff:

Visit the chuckwagons, enjoy samples at noon, then vote for your favorite!

Sorghum Harvest:

We always look forward to harvesting the sorghum and boiling it down to make molasses. Wear your work boots and jeans because you have the chance to get in the fields with the Mahaffie staff and volunteers during this event. Help cut stalks of sorghum, feed the stalks through a press to make sap, and haul the sap to the outdoor fire to be boiled into molasses. Maybe you can sweet-talk the cook into giving you a taste of the finished product. Yum!
