Play DORA's Scavenger Hunt This Summer!

Parents! Get ready to go exploring with your kids with help from DORA! Join us at the KCZoo now through September 15 as we host a special scavenger hunt filled with lots of fun animal facts for a one-of-a-kind learning adventure for the family. Follow the clues with your kids to find hidden animal facts throughout the Zoo. Plus, you can take home an activity sheet featuring a DORA coloring and paletas recipe sheet for you and your kids to complete at home!

Every Saturday between July 6 and September 14, the Zoo will also be showing DORA episodes in the Beastro Lobby Auditorium at 9 am. You and your family can enjoy these fun and educational episodes in our air-conditioned theater while you wait for the Zoo’s 9:30 am general admission open time. And just as a reminder, our Friends of the Zoo (FOTZ) members will have access to the Zoo at 8:30 am each weekend in July!
