Family Storytime in the Garden is a joint literacy event with the Kansas City Rose Society, Lead to Read, and Yogurtini. Come meet Nikiyah Crosdale, who will be the featured local, children book author, presenting her book The Thought Jar. Interact with the author as she presents The Thought Jar, make a Thought Jar to take home and enjoy a frozen yogurt treat from Yogurtini. The free, family event will be held at the Garden Center at Loose Park, either on the patio or in the meeting room depending on the weather.
