Kansas City is known as the “City of Fountains.” Every year in April the entire city celebrates Greater Kansas City Fountain Day — when all publicly-operated fountains get turned on. This year, that day is Friday April 14.

In celebration of Fountain Day 2023 Zona Rosa will be doing a special event!

Fountain Day Celebration

Friday, April 14 | 9am – 11am

Central Park (green space in front of Bravo)

Enjoy coffee from Brew Haha Coffee Truck, goodies from Muffin Top Bakery (Zona’s newest bakery) and be one of the first to play in the Central Park fountain in 2023. The fountains will officially come on at 9am.

SPECIAL GIVEAWAY: Fountain Day Goodie Bags. We will be handing out goodie bags filled with special treats, coupons from Zona merchants and a beach towel (in case you get wet!). Limited quantity, first-come, first-serve!

A little about the Zona Rosa fountains: Known as a “pop fountain” there are  21 programable led lighted spray heads each one capable of spraying a lighted stream 16 feet into the air. Our fountains “dance” and pop up from the ground.
