Freedom Festival: Greenwood
Freedom Fest is an annual event that is held on the fourth Saturday of June. Activities include rides/inflatables, games for kids of all ages. Enjoy shopping with an eclectic group of vendors as well as a wide variety of food from KC area food trucks. Special events change each year, keeping the festival fun and exciting! If shopping and playing aren't your things take a stroll through our always popular Car Show while listening to live music and make sure to stay late for the firework display. This is the biggest event from Greenwood's Parks and Recreation and we can't do it without our fabulous community volunteers! Please feel free to contact Parks if you'd like to volunteer for any of our upcoming events!
The Parks and Recreation Board also wants to give a huge shout out to Fellowship of Greenwood Church. Their members are volunteering to run all carnival rides this year! We cannot thank them enough for all of the time, money and energy they put into our community events.
Freedom Fest parking at Hitt Park is limited to those with Handicap tags and parking passes. Please use parking and FREE shuttle service at Fellowship of Greenwood on Main Street (150 Highway).
