Join us at the Kauffman Center on Sunday, June 11 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. for the 10th celebration of Future Stages Festival. You’ll be captivated by hundreds of Kansas City-area youth performers as they take the stage for this highly anticipated community event.
Future Stages Festival is a FREE community event that spotlights diversity in the performing arts and includes family-friendly activities and exciting arts experiences for all ages. Attendees are encouraged to RSVP by using the link below to receive the latest event updates and schedule for performances and activities. Registration is optional but encouraged, and no tickets will be issued.
Kauffman Center is thrilled to announce the young artists who will dazzle audiences on Sunday, June 11 from 12 p.m. – 5 p.m. at Future Stages Festival! These groups represent a wide range of diverse performance styles and the future of the performing arts in Kansas City. Returning groups include Crescendo Conservatory, MSACP Orchestra, Rebel Song Academy: Ignition Camp and Street Styles Academy among many others. The event will also feature 7 first-time festival performers including The Barton Street Band, Reflections of Polynesia Performing Arts, Artists Revealed Dance Company and Live Jazz KC High School All Star Big Band. In total more than 30 talented youth groups will be highlighted; see the complete list of artists below.
The festival day will conclude with a special 10-year anniversary closing performance on the lawn south of the Kauffman Center by the Pythons Drill Team. You won’t want to miss a moment of this exciting day.
