GLOWILD RETURNS TO LIGHT UP YOUR NIGHTS THIS FALL! Now in its second year, the GloWild lantern festival will be back September 29 through December 30 with a brand-new theme, “Around the World,” which promises an even bigger and better nighttime spectacular.

GloWild features massive steel and silk works of art that include global landmarks as well as animals and botanicals of the seven continents. The event created in partnership with Zigong Lantern Group will be even bigger than last year, with new lanterns up to 50 feet tall! Guests will walk a one-way path through the displays with opportunities to stop to enjoy photo opportunities, concessions, shopping, and entertainment.

A few types of early bird tickets are on sale now at the lowest price of the year! Friends of the Zoo members can purchase individual tickets to use on any day for just $19, and the general public will be able to purchase a family 4-pack for only $69. That’s just $17.25 each for two adult and two child tickets that can be used any day that GloWild is open. This event does require a separate ticket from daily Zoo admission.
