Fall has arrived and we are once again excited to host Hoots & Howls presented by Ford Motor Company! We kick off the fun on Saturday and Sunday, October 7-8, with Friends of the Force Weekend. Travel to a galaxy far, far away and pose for photo ops with the star-studded 501st Legion. Our animal residents will also be receiving special enrichment to join in the fun! 

Be sure to make reservations to visit Sobela Ocean Aquarium in advance to prepare for our busy Hoots & Howls events. New reservation dates are added weekly, so keep checking back if you don’t see your preferred date yet. Just as a reminder, entrance is included in the price of Zoo admission or membership, but we do require a free timed reservation to visit the Aquarium.

Oct 7-8: Hoots and Howls: Star Wars Theme

Find the droids you are looking for this weekend only at the Kansas City Zoo as the 501st Legion joins us from a galaxy far, far away. Oct 14-15: Hoots and Howls: Fall Fun Theme

Enjoy family-friendly fun this weekend at the Kansas City Zoo! Enjoy fun fall activities for the whole family, including a pumpkin -toss, peddle tractors, photo ops, and more! Our animals will also be receiving pumpkin enrichment at scheduled times throughout the weekend! Thanks to Ford Motor Company Fund for sponsoring this event.

Oct 21-22: Hoots and Howls: Ghostbusters Theme

Join us at the Kansas City Zoo as the Midwest Ghostbusters take over, they'll be meeting guests and getting rid of ghosts from 10am-3pm. Stop by to explore the Ecto-car, Family-friendly costumes are encouraged!  Enjoy fun fall activities for the whole family, including a pumpkin-toss, photo ops, and more!  Our animals will also be receiving pumpkin enrichment at scheduled times throughout the weekend! Oct 28-29: Boo at the Zoo

Celebrate Halloween with a not-so-scary, safe trick-or-treating experience. Bring the kiddos in their family-friendly costumes and join the fun. Trick-or-treat bags will be provided. Enjoy fun fall activities for the whole family, including a  pumpkin-toss, photo ops, and more!On Saturday & Sunday October 29 & 30, FOTZ members may join us from 8:30-9:30 a.m. for your exclusive hour!
