Independence Day Celebration in Independence

We are excited to bring back the annual fireworks show in Independence, MO. Join us on Saturday, July 2 for music, food trucks and fireworks! The event is made possible through the partnership between the City and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Independence Stake.
Gates will open at the venue, 937 W. Walnut, at 5:30 p.m. Food trucks will be available and live music will begin at 7 p.m. and play through 8:45 p.m. Look for details on the musicians and food trucks on this page.
The Spirit of Independence Concert Band will play at 9 p.m. and fireworks will begin at 9:30 p.m.
Please note outside fireworks and weapons are prohibited. Smoking, pets, and alcohol will also not be allowed.
