Welcome to the 19th Annual Kansas City Zoo Run, “Run for the Sharks.” We feature a different species each year and in 2022, we offer a 4-Mile timed run/walk event as well as a 1-Mile Family Fun Run. We started our first ever Fundraising Campaign in 2020 in addition to the portions of proceeds we raise each year going to the Kansas City Zoo’s Conservation efforts. Last year, we raised over $33,000.

The Kansas City Zoo Run, is a 4 Mile Timed Run/Walk and a 1 Mile Family Fun Run. Saturday, September 17th, 2022.

Each year, we build awareness and provide portions of proceeds to a different featured species through the Kansas City Zoo. For 2022, we are supporting the Sharks as our featured species!
