While there won’t be an in-person program and gathering, we have a few surprises up our sleeve for guests to experience the holiday lights downtown or online. The fun begins at 6 p.m.

VISIT DOWNTOWN

Grab a thermos of hot cocoa, jump in the car, and cruise or walk through Downtown to enjoy live window displays and holiday shopping from 6-8 p.m.

Starting at 6 p.m., we’ll premiere an animated light display in City Hall Plaza, designed and installed by the Lee’s Summit High School Robotics team, Team Driven. Bask in the magic of both the holiday lights and the animated display through the first week of January.

Count down to the big moment during our virtual telecast at dusk on November 20th. Tune in for a special message from Santa & Mrs. Claus, Mayor Baird, and watch live aerial coverage as downtown glows with thousands of sparkling lights.
