Legends Outlets is amping up the holiday magic this season with 14,000 new lights on its 45-foot tree and a new synchronized light show. The center will host its 17^th Annual Legendary Tree Lighting on Saturday, Nov. 12, from 5-7 p.m., offering festive fun for the entire family. Centered around its 45-foot Christmas tree, the ceremony will feature holiday entertainment and activities, including a live holiday concert, photos with Santa, text-to-win prize giveaways, a silent disco, and more.

Event Details

Date: Saturday, Nov. 12, 5-7 p.m.

The Display: A 45-foot tree returns this year as the Legends Outlets' main centerpiece, located at the center of the Civic Courtyard Fountain in front of AMC Legends 14 Movie Theater. The fully animated commercial RGB Christmas tree was updated with over 14,000 new lights with millions of color combinations that “dance” to synchronized holiday music.

Holiday FX, a local premier Christmas light installation company, updated the tree with its new lights. Reinders Seasonal Lighting, based in Sussex, WI, is the producer of the new holiday lighting show.

Emcee: This year’s official tree lighting emcee is Mr. Stinky Feet, Jim Cosgrove. He will take center stage at 5 p.m. to kick off the event, perform songs, and lead the ceremonial countdown to the tree lighting.

This year, the lighting of the tree will take place around 5:30 p.m., with live music and activities continuing until 7 p.m.

Photos with Santa: 5:30-8 p.m.

Santa will visit Legends Outlets to welcome guests to the 17^th Annual Legendary Tree Lighting. After his welcome remarks, Santa will be stationed just west of the center courtyard, between Francesca’s and Converse, for family photos. Photos are free, and guests will receive a shareable digital copy and print-out of their photo.

Text-to-Win Giveaways: 5-6:45 p.m.

Guests can text the word holidaycheer to Legends Outlets’ mobile VIP line at 877-321-2951 for their chance to win various prizes on Saturday, Nov. 12. Registration will open at 5 p.m. and end at 6:44 p.m. All prize winners will be notified via text message at 6:45 p.m. with instructions on how to claim their prize. Winners must claim their prizes in-person at the Legends Outlets’ VIP tent by 7:15 p.m. Prizes include gift cards and other various prizes from participating Legends Outlets stores. The list of prizes will be available to view prior to the event at legendsshopping.com.

Shopping: 10 a.m.-8 p.m.*

Legends Outlets will be open current, normal operating hours on Nov. 12, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., for all-day shopping and savings at its nearly 75 leading designer and favorite brand-name outlet stores.
