Wear your green and celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in a unique way. On Saturday\, March 15th our train leaves Abilene’s Rock Island Depot at 6:00 p.m. for a two-hour St. Patrick’s Day party in the Smoky Hill River Valley\, complete with some of the best Irish-inspired food and beverages. \n\nChef Scott Sieben of Kites in Aggieville Manhattan is preparing two great meal options. Choose from corned beef and hash with candied carrots and peas OR bangers and mash\, with peas\, brown gravy and candied carrots. For dessert we’re proudly serving our Guinness brownies. Tea and water accompany the meal\, but for a little extra\, have an ice-cold beer. Our three vintage dining cars will be decked out in green\, the music will be Irish\, and the fun will be yours!
