Community members can donate school supplies or make financial contributions by mail at: \nFosterAdopt Connect\n18600 E. 37th Terr. S.\nIndependence\, MO 64057 \nDonations are also accepted in person at the same address during regular business hours\, Monday through Friday. DESCRIPTION:A brand-new summer camp taught and directed by Martin City Melodrama at EA for theatrical arts! This camp teaches the young theatre artist classic comedy of yesteryear. Charlie Chaplin\, Buster Keaton\, The Marx Brothers as well as the modern comedians of today. Emphasis will be on improvisation\, slapstick\, the art of telling a joke\, and physical theatre. Music will be included to emphasize the rhythm of performing cleaning executed comedy. The day camp creates an original cowboy melodrama and vaudeville with student actors and culminates into three live performances on the Englewood Arts Center for families and friends to see. Students with disabilities are encouraged to participate. The student actors will experience teamwork\, discipline for theatrical arts and build self-esteem in the live shows performed by themselves.
