DESCRIPTION:KC Family Bike Ride creates a chill environment where families can ride bikes safely together without limits on ages or ability. This is a no-drop\, 3-mile ride from Brookside Park to KC Bier Co along the traffic-free Trolley Track Trail. These rides are “no-drop” which means no one is left behind. There is a ride leader and a “sweep” who stays with the slowest members of the group. No pressure! \nThese slow rides encourage everyone to get on their bikes! We take the pace of the slowest rider even if they are on a stride bike. The route is very flat\, and designed for families to choose the distance that works for them. The group typically hangs at KC Bier Co for a pretzel or two. Ride back at your leisure (or whenever you have to book it back for nap time). \nMeet at the Brookside Park baseball diamond (56th & Brookside) at 10am. \nAll wheels welcome:\nAdults & kids on bikes\nBikes with training wheels\nStrider bikes\ne-Bikes*\nCargo bikes\nBike trailers\nScooters & strollers welcome but may have trouble on the crushed gravel trail. \n*All classes of e-eike are welcome but they must have functional pedals\, aka not be an e-moto. Riders are expected to act responsibly at all times.

O.P. can’t wait to see you at the Overland Park Arboretum for Cottonwood Tales Story Time! \nThe fee is per participant. Caregivers and siblings need only pay admission to the Arboretum\, take care of both fees at check out. Registration is required. Caregiver presence is required. \nEvents are outdoors if the high temperature is predicted to reach 70 degrees Fahrenheit and dry. If they will not reach 70 degrees or in case of rain\, the event will be held in the Education Center.
