Lunar Eclipse Telescope Viewing

Join Planetarium Manager Patrick Hess for an in-person telescope viewing of the "Blood Moon" lunar eclipse happening on the evening of Sunday, May 15.
The event will be free to attend, with guests each sharing time on the telescope. Patrick and the planetarium team will be set up for telescope viewing starting at 8:30pm with a partial eclipse visible at that time. The total eclipse (Blood Moon) will start at around 10:30pm.
LOCATION:
The planned location for the viewing event will be in front of Union Station in our south plaza area, near the lamp post clock and fountain.
