The Medal of Honor Character Development Program is a free resource that teaches students courage, commitment, integrity, sacrifice, citizenship, and patriotism through extraordinary military and civilian stories, including those of Medal of Honor Recipients themselves. All lessons and teaching resources are flexible enough to be implemented in public, private, charter, homeschool, and extra-curricular settings, and are useful as Social Emotional Learning tools to create a positive and healthy school culture.
Middle and high school teachers from all subject areas, along with parents, counselors, coaches, and administrators are invited to attend this Medal of Honor Character Development Program training day. The session will provide everything you need to use the Character Development Program. Those who attend will receive all of the resources at no cost, learn techniques for using the lessons with students, and be eligible to do an additional project and receive CEU credit. No cost to attend. Lunch is included.
Prior registration is required. Please note that all attendees will be expected to comply with local Covid-19 protocols, including those established by the training venue.
