Science City’s holiday event – Merry Science Day, returns for another fun-filled year! Enjoy a cheerful day of science fun with the whole family. Featuring hands-on demonstrations, educator-led activities, a special Laser Holiday Magic Show (separate ticket required) and a jolly good time!

Plus, a special visit from the one and only Santa Claus! Santa will be roaming Science City from 10 AM – 2 PM. For a full list of activities, please see below.

Full Schedule*

•Gingerbread Houses | 10 AM – 5 PM

Location: Creative Corner

Create and decorate your very own gingerbread house before taking it with you!

•Geometry of the Holidays | 10 AM – 5 PM

Location: Periodic Table

Make your very own holiday ornament using geometric shapes.

•Binary Coding | 10 AM – 5 PM

Location: Maker Studio

Combine coding with the holiday season as you use a 3D printed cookie cutter, pipe cleaners and pony beads to represent your initials in binary.

•Early Learning: Gingerbread Men | 11:30 AM and 2:00 PM

Location: PNC Learning Lab

Little learners can join us for story time and an activity in the PNC Learning Lab. After listening to “How to Catch a Gingerbread Man” guests can decorate their very own gingerbread man to take with them.

•Santa Clause | 10 AM – 2 PM

Location: Throughout Science City

Santa will roam Science City spreading holiday cheer! Photos are encouraged.
