SUMMARY:KC’s 2nd Annual Natsu Matsuri (Japanese Summer Festival)
DESCRIPTION:Natsu Matsuri(夏祭り) which translates to “summer festival” in Japanese\, is an annual event that takes place across Japan in the summer months of July to September. These festivals are a celebration of Japanese culture and customs\, and feature a variety of activities and performances. \nOur Natsu Matsuri KC will showcase Japanese owned + related businesses\, Japanese artists and organizations\, as well as traditional games such as the water balloon fishing(水ヨーヨー釣り) and the goldfish scooping(金魚すくい) and more! \nThis is a family & kids friendly outdoor festival. Please bring a lawn chair and/or picnic blankets to enjoy the summer weather with us! Please be prepared for potential excessive heat. \nGeneral Admission is $5 in advance ($7 on the day of the event)\, children under 12 enter free.\nGame Pass will guarantee kids 12 and under ONE prize at each game\, and will let them have unlimited plays. Must return to the back of the line per play. \nAll funds raised will be directly put towards future Japanese community events such as Shinnen-kai\, O-Hanami\, and other cultural events hosted by Yukari KC Inc. \nYukari KC is a registered 501 (c)(3) Non-Profit.\nTickets are required! \nVendor and Organization List:\nCheck out our website for an updated list. \nPerformances by Three Trails Taiko\, Tatsumaki Yosakoi\, Shodo by Miho JOI Coordinator. \nThe festival venue is sponsored by KC Craft Ramen\, Level One Game Shop\, Jinya Ramen Bar\, Build Up!
