Every year Shawnee Town 1929 participates in Old Shawnee Days on Saturday and Sunday of the event with a special series of activities for children called Ticket to Fun. Visit our farmstead to participate in leather-working, making balsa wood airplanes, playing horse shoes, sampling hand-churned ice cream (yum!), doing laundry like they did in the 20’s, visiting the livestock, creating your own family tree, and as an extra perk, taking a pony ride! Get your ticket stamped for five or more activities you perform and win a prize at the Visitor’s Center.
