Osawatomie's Lights on the Lake is Osawatomie's annual Fourth of July celebration. The event is family-friendly, with a variety of fun-filled activities. The event will have bounce equipment for toddlers to adults, face painting, a balloon artist, various food vendors, live music featuring SARA EVANS and Silver Bullet, and we'll end the evening with our annual firework spectacular! Gates open at 3 p.m. at 32942 W Lakeside Dr. Osawatomie, KS 66064 at Osawatomie City Lake. Trailers, Campers, and RVs are prohibited due to space. There are two entrances; north and south. Make sure you arrive early and have your tickets out and ready. Please, follow the attendants to the parking sections. Seating is general admission and is first-come, first-serve. The seating area in the concert space is in a grid format. Please, keep pathways clear for emergency access. Re-entry is strongly discouraged. If the need arises, please see the information table in the concert area. Due to space limitations, pop-up canopies, tents, and umbrellas; are prohibited. Lights on the Lake is a family-friendly event, so please, no alcohol. Be sure to bring sunscreen, chairs, blankets, bug spray, etc.
