The Ag Hall is playing its part in the summer of Oz with its own event, which will be held from August 2-4. The hours are 2 to 6 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday. In “Oz Comes to Kansas” activities will be held in Farm Town USA so that attendees can experience what Dorothy’s life would have been like in rural Kansas in the early 20th century. There will also be opportunities to see the Mesner Puppet Show, watch Professor Marvel's Magic Show, enjoy the giant balloon animal kites on Saturday, visit the International Wizard of Oz Club's memorabilia exhibit, and tour Miss Gulch's farm home. There will be a variety of interactive events, like the witch cackling contest, a meet-and-greet with the Wizard of Oz cast, a chance to pet farm animals and ride the train, and, of course, enjoy some Oz-inspired food!
Price: $8 for adults, $4 for kids, free under age 2
