PAWtriotic Pet Parade & Adoption

Join us for a fun, family friendly event at Lenexa Public Market! Unleashed Pet Rescue will be on hand with adoptable dogs. Have your mutt strut his/her stuff in our patriotic parade. Shop for pet-related goods and services from several vendors.

SCHEDULE

11 a.m. to 2 p.m.: Unleashed Pet Rescue will have dogs available for adoption outside on the Lower Commons.

Noon: Pet Parade on the Lower Commons (near the south entrance of the Lenexa Public Market). Bring your dog in a patriotic-themed costume for the parade! Dogs will receive a special treat at the end. Line up at 11:45 a.m.

OTHER ACTIVITIES

Food

Mad Man's KC BBQ will offer a hot dog meal special and apple pie NitroCream (liquid nitrogren ice cream). Other food merchants are also inside the Market.

Pop-Up Merchants

• Cheeky Chic Bows – Handmade bow ties for dogs.

• Beer Paws – Craft beer treats for dogs. Bottle openers for collars and leashes, Wine Paws bottle stoppers, bottle sweaters and koozies, coasters, handmade collars and wristlets, upcycled bottle cap collars and more.

• Pet Wants Olathe – All-natural pet food, spa products and treats.

REMINDER: Dogs must remain outside the Lenexa Public Market unless they are certified service/support animals.
