The Big 12 Conference has announced the immediate suspension of all Conference championships until April 15, resulting in the cancellation of the Phillips 66 Big 12 Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships in Kansas City, along with its upcoming gymnastics and equestrian championships. Conducting future Big 12 championships this season will be evaluated and determined by April 15.
“After consultation with our Board of Directors it was decided that cancelling these championships was in the best interest of the health and safety of our student-athletes,” said Commissioner Bob Bowlsby.
Details will be forthcoming on full refunds of ticket purchases for these championships.
The Phillip’s 66 Big 12 Women’s Basketball Championship is coming back to Kansas City!! Featuring the Reading & Fitness Challenge, a Youth Night Celebration and fun ticket offers such as Brunch & Basketball and Lift as you Rise - there will definitely be something for everyone.
All-Session tickets are priced at $90 and $70, plus applicable service charges. Single-Session general admission tickets are $10, plus applicable service charges. Group tickets (10 or more) are also available at $8 (general admission) or $16 (reserved) per session.

- Be a "Force for the Future" and help build the female leaders of our community while supporting the women athletes of the BIG 12. This event is an excellent opportunity to further develop yourself, while developing others. Join us for a panel discussion followed by a mentoring experience with local young women and help them grow into the next generation of leaders. We will tackle topics like confidence-building, pursuing your potential, and how women can empower other women. THE READING & FITNESS CHALLENGE
The Reading & Fitness Challenge is back! This event is centered around encouraging youth in the Kansas City community to get active and excited about reading. Challenge students (K-6th) to read 12 books and complete 12 hours of fitness activity by January 31! Winners are invited to the Reading & Fitness Challenge powered by evergy celebration on Friday, March 13 (Game 3, 11:00 a.m.)
