The Pirate Dash GLOW Run - 5K and one mile fun run - is a fun, family event on Friday, April 4th, 2025. Great for both serious runners and more casual walkers, too!

Race begins at 7:30.

Our vision for the 2025 Pirate Dash is a FUN family event at Wallace Park in Belton for families and the community to get together for an evening glowing with friends, family, and connection. The race route includes an inflatable tunnel where you will GLOW your way through, the Belton Pirate be there, along with Belton Police and Fire, and school and community groups.

In addition to the walk/run in a fun atmosphere, the Pirate Dash offers opportunities for vendors to share information with our attendees. In previous years we've had a local gym, real estate agents specializing in helping the aging population, the public library, financial advisors, churches, and more participating in our vendor fair. Funds raised through event registration and sponsorships pay for the event and help support the programs of the Belton Educational Foundation (Pirate Pantries-food, shoes, clothing-in Belton schools, tuition assistance for BHS students, scholarships, classroom grants, You Matter Belton, mental health initiatives, and more!).
