Fun for all at SOAR Respite Night!
Our in-person R&Rs will be at various locations throughout the greater Kansas City area and will have a simultaneous program for siblings from birth-13 years old. R&R events consist of a variety of activities including games, crafts, sensory, movies, worship, a short devotional, and more. We will only be able to accept 10 individuals with special needs and their siblings per each respite session. There will be one session on Friday night for Teens/Adults only and 1 session on Saturday for all others. For the entire year, our respite nights will have a birthday party theme celebrating SOAR’s 10th birthday in September! In order to help ALL of our families experience a time of respite, you will only be able to attend once, until all are accepted (expectation is at Grace Church where larger numbers will be accepted.) For all events, all staff and volunteers will be required to wear facemasks, and participants are highly encouraged to wear them and will be given a mask break as needed. All individuals will need to have a temperature check prior to entering the building.
