Space Day
2019 marks the 50th year of the Apollo 11 moon landing. In celebration of National Space Day the Strategic Air Command and Aerospace Museum will hold a space day that includes hands-on space activities, movies in the theater, planetarium shows, and a guest speaker in the theater. From the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum, Dr. Jennifer Levasseur will join us at 10 am for a moving presentation that is out of this world. Dr. Levasseur is the responsible curator for the Museum's astronaut cameras, Skylab program, and astronaut personal equipment (pre-shuttle) collections.
