Species Spotlight: Giraffes and Ungulates

The word ungulate refers to hoofed animals and this weekend we are shining the spotlight on the ones that reside at the Zoo. On Saturday, June 23 and Sunday, June 24, join us for special Zookeeper chats and learn more about the hoofstock that call the KCZoo home.

Learn about springbok, lesser kudu and oryx from the African Marketing Viewing Area at 10 a.m. and noon. Get to know our giraffes at 1:30 p.m.
