Spider-Man: Beyond Amazing tells the story of the web slinger, from his origins in 1962 to his modern-day adventures through original art, interactive displays, photo ops, priceless artifacts from the motion pictures and more.

Opens at Union Station on May 26 and runs thru October 1.

Since his inception six decades ago, Spidey has become one of popular culture’s greatest icons, and generations of fans have fallen in love with his unique look, aspirational heroism, and universal message of great power necessitating great responsibility.

Within the exhibition galleries, visitors will explore interactive installations, learn about the many creators who have contributed to the Spider-Man mythos, take epic selfies alongside Spidey and other key characters, and discover a number of priceless artifacts from the past six decades, all within a space that combines traditional museum display techniques with cutting-edge technology. Guests will also learn how the web slinger has adapted and changed with the times while getting up close with original comic art, film production elements, and behind-the-scenes materials from the wall-crawler’s appearances in animation and video games.
