The Learning Tree Toys & Books, located at 4004 W. 83rd St., Prairie Village, KS 66208, is offering their annual Halloween Candy Buy Back, during the following hours beginning:

On Friday, November 1, 2024, families are invited to bring their “extra” Halloween candy to the Learning Tree to be donated to the two Kansas City VA Medical Center locations.

Halloween Candy Buy Back for the Veterans.

The Learning Tree Toys & Books, located at 4004 W. 83rd St., Prairie Village, KS 66208, is offering their annual Halloween Candy Buy Back, during the following hours beginning:

Friday, November 1 - 2, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Sunday, November 3, 2024, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Monday & Tuesday, November 4-5, 2024,10:00 am to 6:00 p.m.

• The Halloween Candy must be unopened and individually wrapped.

• The Learning Tree cannot accept LARGE donations from organizations such as schools or churches.

• Please bring candy in gallon zip lock bags, doubled plastic grocery sacks or small boxes.

• One $5 Learning Tree Bucks Coupon per family.

“The Learning Tree is all about serving the greater Kansas City community. The candy donation program is a great way to show our support to our veterans. In 2023, the Learning Tree donated over 5 carloads of candy to the local VA Hospital and Veteran’s Center. In exchange for their donation, customers will receive a $5.00 coupon to spend at The Learning Tree (one coupon per family). We look forward to delivering the donated candy to the KC VA Hospital and Veteran’s Center,” remarked Brett Goodwin, Owner, The Learning Tree.
