Time Travelers - Down on the Farm
Step back in time to the 1920's at Shawnee Town 1929 Museum. Today you'll be on the farm doing laundry with a washboard and hanging clothes on the line. You'll feed our chickens including our rooster, Duke and make a cool 1920's beverage.
Today's extra activity: 11 am - 1 pm leatherworking with Cornie Neufeld, retired nurse and Kansas farmer. He's the first man to ever graduate from KU's School of Nursing!
Time Travelers activities change every week through August 9th. There are three main programs which rotate every three weeks: Down on the Farm, In the Garden, and Goin' to Town with extra activities every time. Experience all of them this summer! Tuesdays and Thursdays 10 am - 3 pm. Select Wednesdays 6- 8 pm.
