TRC Fireworks in the Park

Join us Friday, June 30th, for our Independence Day Fireworks Show! The firework show will take place in Pierson Park around 9:45 pm (weather depending). You and your family are invited to join us for FREE in Pierson Park for the show! Please see the below map for parking and traffic information. Note: Once inside Pierson Park traffic will be one-way only, once all parking lots are filled entrance to Pierson Park will be denied!

Here is what you need to know:

Time: Approx. 9:45 pm Firework show starts

Date: Friday, June 30th, 2023

Location: Pierson Park (1800 S 55th St, Kansas City, KS 66106)

Other important information:

Once all parking lots are full all entrances into Pierson Park will be closed. Street closures at 55th and Metropolitan and 55th and Douglas will go into effect once lots inside Pierson Park are full and the show is about to begin.

All traffic will be one-directional once inside the park (please see map below for details)

Shelter 1 will be closed for public use

Pierson Hall will be closed for public use

All other shelters will be open for use

No cars will be allowed to park on 55th Street!

No alcohol or drugs are allowed inside Pierson Park!

For your safety, NO PERSONS are to be within our safety perimeter! In the event that someone is to enter the security perimeter, the firework show will stop!
