TRC Fireworks in the Park - New date

The fireworks show takes place at Pierson Park around 9:45 pm (weather-dependent).  You and your family are invited to join us for FREE in Pierson Park for the show! Please see the below map (when it becomes available) for parking and traffic information.

Note: Once inside Pierson Park traffic will be one-way only, once all parking lots are filled entrance to Pierson Park will be denied! Also, the park and all entries will close at 9:30 PM (NO EXCEPTIONS). There will be no entry into the facility at 9:30 PM. 

Here is what you need to know:

Time: Approx. 9:45 pm Firework show starts

Date: July 2, 2024 

Location: Pierson Park (1800 S 55th St, Kansas City, KS 66106)

Other important information:

• Once all parking lots are full, all entrances into Pierson Park will be closed. Street closures at 55th and Metropolitan and 55th and Douglas will go into effect once lots inside Pierson Park are full and the show is about to begin. Patrons will no longer be able to enter the park at 9:30 pm. No exceptions!
• All traffic will be one-directional once inside the park (please see the map below when it becomes available for details)
• Shelter 1 will be closed for public use
• Pierson Hall will be closed for public use

• All other shelters will be open for use 

• No cars will be allowed to park on 55^th Street!
• No alcohol or drugs are allowed inside Pierson Park!

For your safety, NO PERSONS are to be within our safety perimeter! If someone is to enter the security perimeter, the fireworks show will stop! No exceptions!
