Battle the winter blues with a Tropical Weekend at the Zoo! On Saturday, January 5, and Sunday, January 6, from 10 am to 2 pm the temperatures are rising at our indoor exhibits. Animals in Discovery Barn, Tropics and Helzberg Penguin Plaza will enjoy tropical enrichment items.

The tropical enrichment isn’t just for our animals! Get in an island state of mind by making a lei in the lobby. How low can you go? Find out when you do the limbo. We may not have a beach close by but you can play in the sand and hang loose listening to beach tunes.
