Whether it’s giggling, chuckling, chortling, or guffawing, everyone likes to laugh! That’s why Mid-Continent Public Library is excited to present you (and your funny bone) with the 2023 Winter Reading Challenge Theme: Humor Me! mymcpl.org/winterreading

The Winter Reading Challenge is an opportunity for adults to celebrate leisure reading and earn incentives (like the limited-edition 2023 Winter Reading Challenge mug) or be eligible for great prizes by reading ANY five books in two months.

Join us from January 15 – March 15 and let’s share a few laughs together

How do I participate?

1) Adult readers (18+) may join online or at any MCPL location, and begin logging on January 15, 2023.

2) Check out the Humor Me Suggested Readings list in print and electronic formats.

3) Read any five books between January 15 and March 15, 2023. List those five books on the Reading Log online or in the back of the Winter Reading Challenge booklet available at your local branch. Logging begins January 15.

4) Complete the Challenge by logging five or more books by March 15. Visit any Library location between March 15 and April 15, 2023 to receive a limited edition 2023 Humor Me Mug.
