Youthfront's Serve and Celebrate Event for All Ages

Youthfront Camp 4600 Rainbow Blvd., Kansas City, Kansas

Youthfront’s YF Neighborhood is the new brand of our year-round community programs! Spend a day lending a hand to local ministries and organizations, hearing the stories of neighborhood history and unsung heroes from neighborhood hosts, and taste the talent and tradition of neighborhood cooks!
We’ll start with a kick-off event at 8:30 a.m.! Groups of volunteer teams will be given specific work sites and spend the morning and afternoon helping local organizations with primarily outdoor projects. Neighborhood leaders and community members will share stories of their community and you’ll get to know more about this vibrant area of Kansas City. We’ll stop for lunch and enjoy a locally prepared meal together and then finish the rest of our work before wrapping up in the early afternoon. There will be LOTS to do and work sites will be open to all ages. Individuals, families, youth or church groups can register to be part of this unique experience, “What’s Good in the Neighborhood 2021”!
