Some of our Favorite Things about Carolyn's Country Cousins Pumpkin Patch:
- The trip is less than an hour from most locations in the metro... with one of the nicest pumpkin patches and our favorite corn maze in the metro, it's worth the trip!
- As a working farm, you'll find educational information throughout the site! The Carolyn's team is committed to providing an educational experience for guests and sharing their passion for agricultural careers. Handpainted signs offer great tips, lessons, and vocabulary to learn more about the plants and animals on the farm, making the trip fun and educational. They even offer a NEW Smart Phone Scavenger Hunt... bring your smart phone and scan the QR Codes on site to unravel a puzzle.
- The pumpkins are ON the vine! At some patches, you will find pumpkins in fields already detached from the vine (some grown on the property, some purchased from outside sources) - it is great to visit a real pumpkin patch and pick that perfect pumpkin! They also sell a wide variety of pumpkins in the store - in every shape, size, and color imagineable!
- The shop offers a great variety of fall goodies and decor - our fave is the Build Your Own Scarecrow kits (outfits and straw to make your own). Concessions are offered throughout including delicous homemade baked goods and quality burgers, brats, and hot dogs.
- They offer many different play areas for the kids, including a GIANT Tunnel Slide (my girls' fave), kids' corn maze, straw maze, fort, fossil dig, many swings and jungle gyms, a trike path, petting zoo, and more.
- Entertainment includes Uncle Lester's Pig Races, the Pumpkin Princess, and live shows on some weekends.
- The Liberty Corn Maze is a separate attraction (next door to Carolyn's) - it is even open at night for as a great outing for teens and families! The Maze offers 4 paths varying in lengths - you may choose to do one or all paths and collect punches on a card for completion as you go. We love the overlook bridges offering a birds eye view of the maze at various stations throughout. The maze is bumpy - plan to go on foot with sturdy shoes.

Picking the Perfect Pumpkin in a REAL Pumpkin Patch!
Liberty Corn Maze:
The Liberty Corn Maze is next to Carolyn's Country Cousins Pumpkin Patch. Admission to the Maze is Adult/$10, Children/ $8.00 for 13-5 years; Free/ 4 and under years. This is a great adventure for the whole family (especially older kids and teens!). "The Liberty Corn Maze is comprised of a 50 inch wide trail cut out of a farmer's field of corn into an elaborate design. Using Global Positioning Satellite (GPS), the maze is cut with pin-point accuracy allowing an aerial viewer to see intricacies of the images and letters in the maze. We have added bridges for additional excitement. Throughout the maze we have several bridges that take you up and on top of the corn. You will get a birds-eye view of the maze, and if you are lost it will allow you to form a new strategy to get out or further into the maze. There are five individual mazes with in one Liberty Corn Maze. When you enter the maze we will equip you with a map and a punch card. Within each individual maze there are 6 check points with a unique hole punch at each check point. We challenge you to become a Maize Master and get all 6 punches in each maze you go through."
The Memories:
We visit Carolyn's Country Cousins and the Liberty Corn Maze every year. Our oldest daughter LOVES to navigate through the maze and we love the fun and educational outing!
