Fall Fun at Colonial Gardens
2022 Edition
Colonial Gardens is one of the best-stocked nurseries in the metro. In addition to a beautiful nursery, they offer a small farmers market where you may purchase local produce, meat, honey, and natural products. They also offer a beautiful event venue for private events and concerts open to the public.

On weekends through the end of October, they host fall fun for families including u-pick apples, outdoor play spaces, and a livestock experience!
Our Pumpkin Patch Tips:
- Wear layers. It is often chilly early or late in the day but can warm up as the sun shines around noon.
- Wear comfy shoes for playing on a farm. Tennis shoes, rubber boots, or farm boots work.
- Remember sunglasses and sunscreen.
- Take photos!
- Come rested. Plan your visit around nap times.

Farm Animals: A Colonial employee took us on a tour of the farm animals. We saw alpacas, geese, chicken, pigs, cows, sheep and goats. Our kids were especially enamored by the goats and enjoyed feeding them!
