The arrival of fall brings yummy autumn produce to our gardens, farmers markets and grocery stores. Use up any leftover fruits and veggies to make stamps with your kids.
Each piece of produce creates a unique shape that can be turned into works of art to frame and hang in the kitchen or even stamp onto wrapping paper.
Materials Needed:
- Fruits and vegetables (pears, apples, bell peppers, lemons and zucchini all work well)
- Acrylic paint
- Paint brush
- Card stock
Cut your fruits and veggies in half to make a surface to paint for your stamp. Brush a thin layer of acrylic paint onto your produce. Press the fruit, paint side down, onto a piece of card stock. Repeat with different colors and fruits to create patterns.
